When will Mi 10 series launch in India and at what price?

For the most part, the flagships of Mi series haven’t been available yet but the company is launching them soon in India in 2020. Earlier, the Mi 10 series was expected to launch by March 31 and pre-bookings were scheduled to start the same day itself. But the company delayed the launch thanks to Coronavirus lockdown situation in the country.

The company emailed, “After giving plenty of thoughts, we decided to delay the launch date of Mi 10 flagships in India, which was originally planned on March 31, 2020. We will release a revised date soon considering the current situation.”

Xiaomi has set a new launch date after the release of new guidelines related to lockdown in India. The Mi 10 5G smartphoneis finally scheduled to hit the shelves on May 8, if things go right. The company has officially tweeted to reveal the revised launch date.

Manu Kumar Jain, global vice-president, has discussed the India launch of Mi 10 series in previous tweet. Because of lack of manufacturing units in India, the company would have to import 100% units. Hence, it would have more expensive or different price model.

They haven’t said anything about pricing yet. But if Jain’s statement has to be believed, it hints that the pricing of Mi 10 lineup might be in range of OnePlus series instead of Redmi K20 Pro series.
